I feel bad for anyone who doesnt like Ortiz. Hes one of the best mashers in the MLB and an even better person. Hell go down as the most beloved Red Sox player of all time when he is done in Boston. Just ahead of Manny.

Manny is the second most beloved Red Sox player of all time? Are you insane? Manny is about 3 miles below Ted and Yaz... and Papi... on that list. Sure, Manny has his fanatical supporters in Boston, but almost as many who he drives insane.

...and just to think the Twins let him go because they thought Matthew Lecroix was a better prospect.

I thought this was going to be about Ortiz having some defect where his heart was oversized or something. Much better this way.
