It's only ST though. :-D

Anyway I wouldn't really overreact to closers in ST. Look at Hoffman. I think that dude gets shelled in ST every year and then goes on to have a fine season. Certainly nothing wrong with handcuffing him thought if you have the bench space.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

I would be a little concerned. It may only be ST but this is when guys try to get in sync. Jenks doesn't exactly have pin piont control. There is only two weeks left in ST. Thats not a lot of time for pitchers get gain strenghth and get ready if they aren't close. now. I doubt Guillen is having him sanbag as somebody suggested. Its not like this kid has been hiding in a cave and nobody knows him. Guillen won't stay with him to long if he is struggeling. Not when he has somebody that has closer expirence waiting in the wings. Hermanson will tell you that .

Ugh... My bullpen was supposed to be Jenks, Izzy, and Igawa (who is an RP in my league).

Pretty bad when you're glad you at least have Izzy. :-/

I've got him as my RP2. My RP1 is Lidge, who just lowered his spring ERA to 11.75. Can someone please remind me that spring stats are meaningless. Please. Please. Right now please. Help please.
