If his job isn't safe, it will be once MacDougal and Burgos blow a few games. I don't think they are going to mess with Jenks confidence to put that garbage in the closer role.

Jenks = Billy Koch. He's a second tier closer and one of those that are very high risk to lose their jobs.

I don't remember Guillen being historically forgiving with his closers, he's got a quick hook, and hasn't been very patient.

its somewhat worrisome but i think he will do about the same as last year. jenks is an adrenaline junky. guys like that tend not to do too well in ST.

I grabbed MacDougal in every league I can just in case. I don't care what managers or anyone else says. If a guy blows too many saves then he will get yanked no matter how good and established he is. Just the way closers are.
