I don't know for sure that he will be on the DL.
This is what I have been hearing...

The Diamondbacks believe Johnson may be able to return to their rotation in mid-to-late April. TSN 3/18/07

I believe they will put him on the DL to start the season if they don't believe he will be ready to take his first or second turn
