I can see how he'd make that kind of mistake if he's operating on caffeine and little sleep. Tired and charged up like that it's easy to have a brain fart and say/do something completely asinine. Of course it doesn't make it any less asinine.

Oh well. At least his quick removal from the game let him go back to the hotel room to get some sleep (haha, as if he'd be able to).
