Stat Categories for hitters are: RUNS, HR, RBI, SB, AVG
Pitchers: W, S, K, ERA, WHIP

8 Man H2H League.

Álex Rodríguez 3B
Joe Mauer C
Derek Jeter SS
Ichiro Suzuki OF
Brandon Webb SP
Chone Figgins 2B,3B,OF
Gary Sheffield 1B,OF
Ben Sheets SP
Huston Street RP
Scott Kazmir SP
Corey Patterson OF
Jeff Francoeur OF
Nick Swisher 1B,OF
Brian Fuentes RP
Delmon Young OF
Coco Crisp OF
Adrián Béltre 3B
Édgar Rentería SS
Mark Teahen 3B
Josh Beckett SP
John Maine SP

We start a C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, 3OF, 2SP, 2RP and 3P all around.

Right now I have waivers made for Tom Glavine, Jon Garland, and Bonds and am dropping Coco, Teahen, and Young.

My main probalem that I see is a lack of HR's. other then that I think I am very solid.

What do you all think? Any pitchers that could have break out seasons that have slipped under the table in leagues like this?

I hope you don't mean you're dropping Delmon Young(!) because if you did then I'd have to YELL at you! Keep him. I'd much rather have him than Bonds, and there must be a better option than John Garland as far as SPs go. List the top hitters and pitchers on the WW.

As far as people you can drop: I'd be ok with Crisp, Teahen (though he may have a breakout campaign, but you have ARod), Renteria (Jeter) and/or Beltre (again ARod).

As far as power goes I think you should do fine with guys like ARod, Sheffield, Francouer and Swisher in your lineup, but I'd try and package Sheets with Francouer or Swisher to upgrade at OF or 1B if you're really keen on grabbing some more pop.

Good luck.

For an 8 team league your teams looks solid, I agree with the above post that you shouldn't drop Young. I would drop the Strikeout king Francouer or Patterson if Young can steal the 30 bases people are hoping he will. I am weary of Blister King Beckett, maybe look at picking up a Capuano or Scott Olsen if they are available. I see Olsen getting 12-14 Wins and 170 K's...Best of luck

Rich Hill
Dave Bush
Javier Vasquez
Freddy Garcia
Ian Snell
Kelvim Escobar
Scott Olsen

are all guys I would like more than Garland.

you need pitching depth as I think Kazmir is a injury candidate this year.

No DH? I like Delmon more than Francouer (although I think both are good) and would drop Renteria and Crisp before Teahan (he gives you OF/3B flexibility on your bench in case of injuries)
