My understanding is that the rest of the staff will be arriving shortly .. But until then, I wouldn't look past Lawrence, Peavy and Eaton ... any one of them is capable of dominating the evening, and they will only get better my friend.
Kevin knows we need one Vet. He'll get one, maybe two in the next couple of weeks ..
as for the lineup ... it may not be done yet ... But ..

some times the teams have a handshake agreement ..
If they decline arbitration, the team can't sign them till the season begins, But in somecase's the team will offer arbitration to the player and the player will decline (the hand shake) so, then they can continue to discuss salary ...

San Diego is a team to watch out for next year. They are going to be good. The staff has more experience, the hitting is there and healthy. The Padres should do very well next year.
