I've been saying from the beginning that the Sox would have to pick up part of Manny's contract for the deal to have a chance. Little did I know that for some strange reason, they look like they are going to do it. Just doesn't seem like a smart move for the Sox. Then again, I don't own a MLB team, so what do I know?
