I am not sure if these guys know what they are doing or not yet. I tend to think Howard is not a complete fluke since is second half numbers from 05 show similiar production...but obviously alot of these guys think he is overrated. I am very surprised Wright went so high because there are alot of good third basemen.

I had the 2nd pick in my draft (took Reyes) and was thinking about taking Howard. $900,000 is excellent for a guy in his 2nd year, but I think the Phils should have done right by him and give him a bit more. Now he's playing for big money, so expect another MVP-type year (like Soriano of last year). The reason I didn't draft him is because I knew I wasn't picking again until the end of the 2nd round and would be able to grab a serviceable 1B eventually...

As for drafting Soriano 2nd, that was just plain dumb...
