I like Freddy Sanchez at 3b. Here's why:
First, you have Sexson on your team, so their batting averages balance each other out. You have Gonalez at Util who might make a better first baseman if Sexson's average destroys you and his power isn't there.
Second, while people talk about Sanchez's average, he had 85 rbis last year, with only 8 HRs.
Third, he has multiple-multiple position eligibility in most leagues (2b, SS, 3b in Yahoo). Kent is aging and can get injured. He can plug in there. If Engsberg heats up, you have Sanchez to move elsewhere.
Your pitching staff has a track-record behind it (Zambrano & Sabathia) but also upside (Hamels & Hill yet to be year-in and year-out studs) and also fliers with upsides (Perez). Your bullpen is better now.
If there are better options available at 3b on WW, I'd make them, but overall your team is better after the trades.
Help me out?
