Definitley some potential.... but you'll have to make some moves here.
Posada will serve fine as a catcher for the season.
Berkman/Konerko/Swisher at first. Obviously you can afford to deal one of these guys
Howie Kendrick at second. Definitely weak.
Joe Crede at third. Again, weak.
Orlando Cabrera at SS. Again, weak.
Soriano/Swisher/Taveras/Griffey in OF. Pretty strong actually. Not a ton of power, but not bad at all.
Hafner at Util. Arguably the best available.
Starting Pitching seems very strong, with Oswalt/Zambrano/Peavy/Sheets/Schilling/Bonderman.
Relief Pitching seems quite shallow.
I'd say the first thing you could do would be to trade Konerko or Berkman (hopefully Konerko) for a strong (top-5 at their position) infielder. Then, trade off one or two of your starters (not the top guys, but you've got a couple of second-tier guys) for a top-shelf reliever and another infielder.
I'd focus on keeping with power, if you can get it. Speed is sketchy at best, with Taveras/Soriano, but power will help you with runs, RBIs, HRs, and maybe even with average if you can get the right guys.
Anybody in your league that's weak in SP, but overloaded with infielders? They'd be my primary target.
Help me out?
