I think I'm set up to win...but am I?

Postby Melo255 » Tue Mar 20, 2007 9:40 am

This is a 3rd year 10 team 5x5 Yahoo DYNASTY league where we can keep all our players for as long as we want with no penalties.

I've finished 2nd two years in a row. I'm pretty happy with my team as I think it's set up not only to compete for the championship right now but in the future can continue to get better.

That being said it's difficult to objectively judge your own team so I'm looking for some feedback from the rest of you who don't have a biased opinion.

Thanks a lot in advance.

Looks pretty decent to me. You have 3-4 first rounders and 3 second rounders. Not bad at all. You should contiune on with your winning ways, and if Sheets can complete a season and King Felix can pitch to his potential, then you have a great shot at taking over the top spot.

That team looks absolutely stacked from where I'm sitting, makes me wonder what the team(s) you came in 2nd to look like.

You will want to hope that your studs stay healthy of course, and that Sheets pitchers a full season or at least close to one, but I'd be very happy to have your team in my league all things considered.

Sorry I don't have much helpful input. Maybe someone more knowledgeable can offer some criticism.

Yeah, great Team. I love Sheets too. Though I might try trading a Markakis and/or Rich Hill and pair them with Cordero to bloster your Bullpen and get a premiere closer.
Is pushing for President Obama to pass a law requiring all citizens to be Chicago White Sox fans and make October 1st "White Sox Day" where we all dress as our favorite player. It maybe socialist, but I don't care.
