I saw the preview for this new NBC show and did some research online. It was an Australian show.

What basically happens is that a celebrity walks thru a door into an unknown situation greeted by "Thank God You're Here" and he needs to improvise his way thru the scene and try to be funny about it.

This sounds like a hilarious idea and I'm definitely looking forward to it early next month.

No way does any star with anything resembling "Star Power" (Read - anyone I'm interested in actually watching) walk into a scene with NO IDEA what they're going to see. They'd run a huge risk of looking like a fool, and they're not going to do that. So they'll have some idea what they're looking at, and they'll have some scripted lines to say, and the whole thing will be a big gag on the audience just like "Who's Line Is It Anyway?"

Fred Willard is funny...he's in all the Christopher Guest movies with Stifflers Mom

Dave Foley is hilarious too...i love him in the Mr Show skit where he plays someones boss who's wife brings a 3 bean casserole and the worker has to hire someone to fart for him (i dont remember why) but hearing Foley deliver the line "How was the casserole (great). Really, I dont hear you farting" with a straight face is permanently etched in my mind
