platooning in fantasy baseball

im planning on using this strategy but with teammates. see, i have chad tracy at UTIL and on my bench chris b. young, both on diamondbacks. chad tracy sucks against lefty pitchers so on those days, i plan to sit him and start chris young who does better against lefties. using the teammate split-biased batter combo will definetly up my production in the UTIL slot and ensure more quality at bats. my only worry is that offday for dbacks means i lose 2 players.
