Just finished drafting for a roto league WHIR of course

Postby Hacktastic » Mon Mar 19, 2007 10:13 pm

Just finished drafting for a roto league with basically all batting and pitching stats imaginable, not including any rate stats. 10 teams are in the league. I think I did a solid job, but I'm leaving it up to you to berate me :)

C - Ramon Hernandez
1B- Prince Fielder
2B- Ryan Freel
3B- Miguel Cabrera
SS- Felipe Lopez
OF- Alfonso Soriano
OF- Matt Holliday
OF- Grady Sizemore
UTIL- Garrett Atkins

Bench- Willy Taveras, Chris Young

SP- Brandon Webb
SP- CC Sabathia
SP- Dontrelle Willis
SP- Kelvim Escobar
SP- Anthony Reyes
SP- David Bush
RP- Billy Wagner
RP- Brad Lidge
RP- Francisco Cordero
RP- Pat Neshek

No pitchers on the bench. I'm lobbying the league commish to give us more than just 2 bench spots.

As always, I'll be more than happy to WHIR. My analysis comes sealed in gold and stamped with Theo Epstein's Seal of Approval.

Thanks!

Soriano, Sizemore, Atkins and Cabrera? This is more of a brag post than a rate my team post. Very nice team you got there. Might want to look and see if you can get another 2B for when Freel misses a couple of months though.

Not a brag, I promise :) Thanks for the good review, though.

The key to a good fantasy team is the outfield and you certanly have one. Holliday, Sizemore, and Soriano must top your league, and although I am not sure how you ended up with Soriano and M-cab i gues you did. Brandon webb is an ace and the rest of your team is solid.

hitters are solid save freel. i love the guy but his skills don't transfer to fantasy well. the pitching can be good and bad depending on how consistent escobar and reyes are. i love bush tho, but willis i think is overrated in most leagues. i'd try to swing a deal with a hitter for a solid, if not star pitcher.
