Anyone have any info in him. He has been great this spring and looks like hes got a shot to close. Anything????

I think he's a bit of a long shot to close at this point but he could be an effective MR especially in leagues that count HLD. He's a converted catcher with a nasty fastball. He could never be an SP but he's nasty enough to be very effective in limited use.

According to CBS, he and Linstrom are the top candidates to win the closer role.

His double A numbers with the Binghamton Mets were phenomenal. His K to BB was awesome, and his ERA was low. Anyone know how well AA closers historically have transitioned to the majors?
