...who is more likely to get the first shot at closing for the Braves? Mike Gonzalez or Rafael Soriano?

I actually feel like Soriano might get the job. Nothing concrete, but i just think he is the more talented pitcher.

I would go with Mike Gonzalez because he has been there before.

I personally think Bobby will go with the typycial righty closer though that might change when facing philly.

I would say Mike G who has a solid experience as a closer. But when he goes down with a bum elbow, Soriano will take over.

Gonzalez....but obviously the verdict is still out on this one, so you're better off just asking Cox directly.... ;-D

How many LHP do the Braves have in the pen other than Gonzalez?

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
