it depends.. i see him suceeding as a starter because he loves being a starter and as long as he can stay healthy with that delivery and that great red sox offense hell probably get 13-16 wins with an era probably around 3.40-3.60 and a whole lot of strikeouts.

now if they decide to leave him in the pen and make him their closer i see him struggling all year and eventually getting traded because red sox fans will boo him more then when cedeno trots out to the field in shea

the best quote from last season came from cedeno after the first game of the season which i had attended and watched him boot a few balls in the outfield. he said "its just 1 game, theres still 150 something more games to go, it'll come together." Apparently it wont when you dont know your job has a schedule of 162 games!.. just thought id throw that in their for laughs

Personally, I like his stuff. I think that he's got cy young stuff. I don't think that he'll ever win one, but I think that he's got the stuff.
As for projections, it depends if Boston trades him for the finger incident. If he stays around, I'd bet that he's one of the top 10-15 pitchers in the American League.

Numbers? I'll go with what Lordb23 said. Why not?

Depends on if he starts for the Sox or gets traded. A little early to say.
