Your offensive lineup seems pretty balanced and you should be competitive in all categories. Your closers are little shakier but you did a good job of hedging your bets. Between those five, at least three will have solid years. I just don't know which three and you'll have to keep close tabs on that.
Your starters are good for the start of the year. It is always nice to have J. Santana. Sabathia and Verlander should be decent. Penny is probably good for the first half of the season at least. I would just keep my eyes peeled for the latest and greatest starter as they emerge.
Real solid team with the exception of the closers since only 2 (Cordero/Zumaya) may still be closing by the end of the year because of injuries/ineffectiveness
Your offense is very solid, without patterson you might be hurting a little for speed, so keep on eye on bj upton or alexi castilla possibly winning a job. I think you will be fine with saves, numbers in closers is always a safe bet, elite closers aren't always worth the premium. In a 10 team league I wouldn't mind a little more depth at SP, but as a previous poster said, if you keep your eyes peeled you should be fine. I would say you certainly will contend this year.

Huh?
No team with Santana, Verlander and Sabathia leading its rotation should be hurting for K's. After all, Penny, Olsen abd D. Cabrera will also get K's, as will the relivers Zumaya and Cordero.
And BA? Hardly. Only Glaus (and maybe Patterson) is a true low BA hitter. I cvount 5-6 hitters who are legitimate .300 hitters, and Lee and Ibanez may not be .300 hitters, but they won't hurt on BA.
I like this team.
