Stick a fork in him - he's done (for this year at least).

thats what i thought. well from what ive read theres a chance of him coming back, just no timetable... so even if pedro isnt at his fullest, im the type of owner to take risks... so if hes there within the last rounds, ill prob take him.
depends on how many bench spots you have. I ended up drafting him in my 10 team with the last pick. My lineup is stacked enough (keeper league) and my pitchers are rather decent, so I wasn't to concerned with taking a chance on him or not. I would have rater sat on Clemens, but somebody beat me to him.
Well, if you've got the DL slots open, then draft him sometime in the last 3 rounds. But chances are someone is auto-drafting and forgot to pre-rank... it even happened in the Forum Fantasy Challenge, where we're supposed to be experienced players (don't worry, all of the Cafe people made it to the draft ).
So yeah, most likely Pedro will be gone by the 10th round, so just sit back and laugh at the person that took him. If he gets dropped, snatch him up (don't waste waiver priority on him though), and when official rosters are released, you can stash him on your DL.
But regardless of how much you may want him for your August/September title push, don't draft him higher than the last couple of rounds... it's not worth it.
(taps little picture of a microphone)... is this thing on?
If you've got more than one DL spot, I think it's a good idea to snag him late. If you're in a H2H league, you've gotta do it. You can't pass up the possibility of some Martinez come playoff time.
