I just read he will be batting 3rd for the Mariners. I personally think this makes his value skyrocket. I mean he is a 300 hitter when healthy and has driven in 90 plus several times. With health I think he could be a top 5 second basemen this year. Anyone have any thoughts on him?

I ended up with him in my one league and didn't think much of it until I read about him batting third. That really makes his value go up because he's batting in the middle of a nice Mariner's lineup.

O and I forgot he is going to supposedly play 1st 3rd 2nd and who knows where else.

I drafted him as my backup to barfield. I actually expected him to bat 5th in the lineup. Being a dh an batting 3rd might make him end up a starter for me.

Worth a look definitely, I couldn't draft him as my starting 2b, however will keep a close eye on him early. His health concerns me of anything, but being that he will dh, perhaps he has 500 or more ab's in him.
