Firstly, apologies if there is already a thread on this.
Basically, I'm usually a Roto guy, but this season I'm drafting in a friends h2h league, standard rules.
What I want to know is who in say the top 100 or so are the players to target for h2h. Particularily players who can help you most down the stretch - and who to avoid.
I'm thinking Santana is an obvious one, always has a great second half split, great for the h2h post season.
Is there anyone else to target/avoid who is a little less obvious?

If you're looking for good 2nd half players, I'd target Jimmy Rollins and Aramis Ramirez.
Generally, my strategy is to avoid really streaky players. Guys like Adam Dunn will help you win HRs by 8 one week and then he won't hit for two weeks straight.
I had Miguel Cabrera last year who was solid as a rock, as well as Paul Konerko. For some reason, I didn't really like having Carlos Lee as his production was all over the board during the season.
I focus more on hitting in H2H as it seems like pitching can vary so much during the week. Last year I was lucky enough to get big power guys (Ortiz, Howard, Cabrera, Lee) who also hit for average, which helped in 4 cats H2H.
I can't give you a list of top 100, but those are the rules I try to follow...

Some good tips, thanks!
I like your two picks, aram and rollins, will be looking to target those.
and yeah hitting over pitching looks like sound advice. I think matsui, who should be nice and consistent, will be another player i'll target.
how about team wise, is it wise to avoid teams who are likely to be out of contention come season end, as there star players are likely to be going flat out?
