Ok, I stand somewhat corrected(more on that later). I admittedly know very little about 3B, because, since I had Pujols there last year, I never needed to take a look at everyone else

That leaves your list at 9 3B's, 7 2B's, not a huge difference. Also, you can't tell me Tex and his .259 avg makes him a top 3B last yr, maybe yes this coming yr though. Also, Glaus is no longer a top 3B in my mind, as a sub .250 avg is absolutely unacceptable. Leaving the list at 7-7. But I will give you that Tex could make it 7-8 this upcoming season, but I still don't agree that there is more depth at 2B than 3B.

I disagree with all my cojones. Glaus has one injury-riddled year. He's proven he can hit 40 homers. He's 26. I see no reason why he can't do it again.
I personally like Anahiem better so I hope he goes there. I don't think they would trade Nomar unless they get Alex. If they would get him and trade Nomar for Jarod Washburn, and sign Foukle or Guardado they would have one of the best team easily in baseball. They would have A-Rod, and would also have a starting pitching staff of Schil, Pedro, Washburn, Lowe, and Wakefield. They would also have Arroyo, a top closer, Kim, and there remaining staff in the pen. Getting rid of Manny I would consider a plus and I wouldn't be suprised if they would sign or trade for a better LF. They could get Jacque Jones maybe.

My point was that there are lots of 3B's who are good. I didn't include Koskie, Ensberg, Mueller, Hillenbrand, Hinske, Burroughs, etc. After those 2B's (7 of them including A.Boone) there aren't many good choices at all. And Tex was only a rookie, give him time. He'll be a lot better than all of the 2B's other than the ones I named.

Sure he can hit 40 HRs, but are you prepared to take the hit of a .250-.260 batting average in exchange? Personally, I'm not that willing.

On my list of guys at 3B and 2B, I can fill my 3B slot very comfortably in a 12 man league and sleep well at night. Taking a look at who's 2B eligible gives me nightmares. I have 2B as the absolute shallowest of positions next year, and 3B is no problem at all.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....

.250-.260 is marginal. If you get a guy like Ichiro or someone with high average, it balances out. That's why you draft to balance your team: A couple of all-around guys, a couple of SB guys, a couple of power guys, and so on.
