I'd take Jay Bruce. He's more refined and should have a quicker route to the bigs than Upton and Maybin.

he was drafted during the major league phase of our draft

this is the minor league phase, basically players with zero major league expirience and will not start the season on a major league roster.

but a great choice if available, probably would have gone #1 or #2

Martinez was a high pick there. I'd probably go with Bruce as well.

if you want the best available bat, take Billy Butler. He is going to be an offensive machine when he gets to the majors. Should get the call at some point this year (as a 21 year old) and be a regular in the middle of the KC lineup by 2008.

If you want biggest upside, take Justin Upton. He has the most talent in the minor leagues. Dont' be fooled by his numbers last year, he came into the league with a bulls eye on his chest. I think he'll end the year as the No. 1 prospect in baseball.

I like Butler or Longoria. I think i would lean toward Butler.

It really depends on what you want.

If you want to get the best prospect that will contribute the most this year, take Billy Butler.

If you want the best prospect available, I would take Jay Bruce.

Jay Bruce, the number 1 prospect in baseball next year, mark my words!

Take Maybin. Easy. Then Longoria, then Upton.
Is pushing for President Obama to pass a law requiring all citizens to be Chicago White Sox fans and make October 1st "White Sox Day" where we all dress as our favorite player. It maybe socialist, but I don't care.
