Possible replecemnent for TQ STats

Postby Rabb » Sun Mar 18, 2007 10:46 am

My league just saw the "improvements" imposed by TQ.
We HATE what they have done and it looks very much like a cost saving measure on their part.

We run a fairly standard 4x4 traditional league but got a lot out of being able to see contract years AND message teams privately in order to discuss trade.

Can anyone recommend a possible replacement

Please feel free to message me directly

I totally agree that they completely ruined a good service. There new site is a DISASTER. Would love to hear from others who use other services.

Does you service have private messages?
Can they handle the waiver process?
Can you see who is online or when they last logged on?
Do they have a trade evaluator?

any help is appreciated

My keeper league already activated with TQstats this year and when they did there upgrades. They completely erased our league.

Owners Info, Messages, Rosters... It sucks.

Any recommendations would be great

I hope they hear the complaints and put it back the way it was.

The old set up was great for my league

We've been using sportsline for maybe 5 years now, and it will do everything that the above posts asked about except show the last time a player was online or who is logged in.

I think they are well worth the price (as long as I don't have to pay the whole thing).

OMG the new site sucks! I've had my 2 keeper leagues with them for 10 years plus and I'm not happy at all. I just got off the phone with 'Customer Clueless' who said that my league's rosters, messages, etc., should be there by the end of the week--they are all gone. Our leagues use weekly transactions input by the commish (me for one of them) and I'm still trying to figure out how to do trades with the other transactions. Gone are the multiple ways to view and print rosters. Gone is the commish board for messages.

Stupid, stupid, stupid! They wasted a lot of money on these changes, and they're going to lose money if they don't fix things--we will leave and try CBS or someone else.

TQ Stats - horrible

Postby yankfan5491 » Wed Mar 21, 2007 1:20 pm

I'll chime in as well - the new look and feel is pitiful. What are they thinking? Still looking for suggestions for a decent/cheap service other than the best which is AllStarStats but is $45 per team

other commissioner services

Check out RotoWire.com at

http://rotowire.com/mlbcommish07

They've got a lot of the features that TQ dropped .. h2h doubleheader games, etc. Cost is just $69.99.

And you can sign up for a free trial to test it out.

Like all of you, we are a FORMER happy customer of TQ (previously Spin Stats). The redesign is worthless for our league, all the features we liked are either gone, or are hard to access. Seems like they are catering to the Yahoo type customer, rather than keep their customer base.

I ran a league thru CBS in 2000, and although they had a few issues, everything seems to be good now. They currently offer a $20 discount, and if you enter the code BBLNDY07 during payment you save another $13. So total is approx $116, not much more than TQ. Somebody mentioned Rotowire, but they don't allow you to enter any players during the 'free trial' so you can't get a feel for the service. Unfortunate.

Good luck finding a site your league likes!
