This guy can beat anyone (answered)

This happened very recently, but it didn't get much press:

Who is the first pitcher to have won a game against all thrity teams?

Close - the Big Unit has beaten 29 teams...

Bonus question: which team is missing on his list?

I gotta think that the only team R.J. never beat is the Diamondbacks.

EugeneStyles nailed the bonus question (wasn't too tough, was it?).

As a hint to the main question, this event happened last month, and was accomplished by a pitcher who won his first game in 1987. You'd think this would at least have gotten some sort of write-up, considering how difficult this feat is...

Dan the man

Postby cwebb » Wed May 08, 2002 9:11 am

Well, how about Dan the man's Tom Glavine then?

He's been there forever and he's quite okay as a pitcher and he was on some good teams...

Nah, Dan's man Glavine isn't the answer to every question... :-b

You need a guy who's been around both the Al and the NL...

Strangely enough, I believe it's Al Leiter.
