Hi guys, who do you think will be great late round picks? I mean young players taken around the 20th round and who have the potential to be breakout studs this year, both hitting and pitching wise.

Kubel's a good one, but 20th round might even be early... he went undrafted in my 20-team league (though I am watching him closely). I am a Corey Hart believer... also Lastings Milledge would be good with PT.
Gerard Laird is a good target if you believe in drafting catchers late, him and Miguel Montero.
David Delluci is a good target, though I'm not sure where he's going.

I'll have some of the Corey Hart kool-aid as well.I'd go with Ronny Paulino over Laird if you want a sleeper catcher late.

Shane Victorino is someone you could consider for 15/15 potential, plus a good AVG lots of runs hitting 2nd in Philly.

In all but one of the drafts I've been in Alex Gordon's been in there in the 19th and 20th rounds. So, I've feasted on him...

Search in Baseball Leftovers for "sleepers" or "undervalued" and you'll find some threads on bargain players.

I don't chase rooks, but I do look for proven vets that've maybe had a down year due to injuries. Jeff Kent is an example of a guy who I expect a rebound from but who can often be gotten mid draft. Garrett Anderson is another one. He's healthy again for the first time in 2 years really and looks good this spring. Piazza's another one. DH full time, he's likely to see more ABs and stay healthy.
