The hype on the 2007 Jeter Card

There has certainly been a lot of hype on the 2007 Topps baseball cards this year...as the Jeter card which has Mantle and Pres Bush in the background has been selling for large dollars thus sending the prices of the packs up at hobby shops...The Beckett price came out recently on that card for $40...
just an fyi to all the card collectors out here
The interesting twist here is that when the factory set come out, the Jeter card will be different...this will probably boost the book value of the factory set as well.

Just to let you know the jeter card is not a short print and is equally produced as any other card in the topps set. Soon people wil realize that and the price will go down. As for the sets, not sure why you think it will boost the price of a factory set.

reason being is that they print less factory sets than they do the wax boxes therefore there will be less of the
new Jeter card
