i got this from yahoo but it was from mar 13
Mar 13 After playing in every Rangers regular season game for nearly three years, Teixeira missed his second straight spring training game Tuesday because of a bruised left knee. The Gold Glove-winning first baseman said the injury isn't serious, and is the result of extended workouts during spring training. He might not play again until Friday. "Right now, I'm just letting it rest," he said in the clubhouse Tuesday morning.
Advice: Teixeira last played Sunday, when he was visibly bothered by the knee when running down the line after grounding into a double play in the fourth inning. He moved awkwardly as he got close to first base and then into the dugout, though he has been walking without any apparent problems since. Teixeira has played in 446 consecutive games, the second-longest active streak in the major leagues behind the 1,080 in a row by Baltimore's Miguel Tejada.
any update since? he is on my team should i get worried?
