I don't think you have any ethical obligation to offer to cancel the trade, but there may be political considerations at work - i.e. if the deal is a minor one, and you want to ensure that the person will trade with you in the future by giving them the concession of undoing the trade.

I think if it's offered and accepted it's a done deal. That's part of fantasy sports.

2 seasons ago, I had Daryl Kile. I traded him the day before he passed away (rest in peace Daryl). I offered to cancel the deal but the other owner was an ethical person and refused to cancel the trade.

Tough luck is part of the deal.
