Say you have first pick in a draft. Who are you looking to grab?
A-Rod, Pujlos(anyone know if he still qualifies for 3B?) , Bonds, Prior, Gagne, Soriano? Theres quite a few big names out there, so, who do u take? :-?

I take Pujlos :-) Man, I wish i had pujlos

I think you mean "Pujols." ;-) But, yeah, A-Rod would be my choice.

Arod.

No P_U_J_O_L_S will not have 3B eligibility next year.

Pujols no longer qualifies for 3B (now qualifies for 1B/OF), and as such, A-Rod is still the #1 pick.

Gagne and the first overall pick should not be mentioned in the same paragraph. Gagne and the first round should not be mentioned in the same paragraph.

That is just my opinion so please dont be too hard on me.

I'd go with Pujols. His numbers were so ridiculous that it would be hard to convince me otherwise. And the guy is only 23 years old...if he stays healthy he has a legit chance to break many significant career hitting records.

Yeah-I would never take gagne too early. I usually take strong hitting first and wait on pitching (unless a stud slips). I was just trying to throw out guys in a couple of different poisitions, and I think we can agree that gagne is probably the best closer
