Madison, you need to have something to lose it.
Yeah, yeah, Mr. Funny Man.
Lol.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
Like that won't happen anyway.l........even w/ Vazquez!
If I were playing third base and my mother were rounding third with the run that was going to beat us, I'd trip her. Oh, I'd pick her up and brush her off and say, 'Sorry, Mom,' but nobody beats me.

i think that the fans are used to pettitte and like him a lot. you know george has to like the guy after getting them out of so many 0-1 situations in the playoffs last year. Also, its more than about stats. colon doesn't seem like the type of guy that would bring a lot to the clubhouse like andy would. also, colon's dedication and longevity has to be questioned due to his constant weight problems. oh, and its always a plus to have a solid lefty in the rotation.

See everyone? Yet another person who seems to think that Colon isn't worth signing because of his weight. Yet everyone wants fat David Wells. I don't get it.
Colon has thrown at least 188 innings each of the last 6 years. Over 200 innings in 5 of them. Who cares if he's fat as long as he takes the mound every 5th day and gets the job done?
Why doesn't everyone get on to David Wells and his fat? He's always out with "injury" due to his fat problems.
Sorry for the rant, Colon is a workhorse and everyone seems to want to use his weight as a reason for not wanting him. I'd take him over David Wells and his weight any day of the week.

Mad.......There is a BIG difference between signing Wells to an incentive laden 1-year contract and signing Colon to a $40 million guaranteed contract. That is the difference.

I understand the difference in the deals, and I agree.
It's just year after year, I hear the same thing about Colon, yet everyone is happy go lucky about Wells. Just doesn't make sense when the argument used against Colon is his weight. Wells is just as big, yet no one points that out.
I guess it's just one of those things.
