League has 20 managers, husband and wife make a trade, wife sends Dice K(Matuzaka) who she took in the 3rd RD for Jeff Suppan who was takin in the 17th rd...

The commish who is friends with the people who made the trade, says that its fair BECUASE who knows Dice K might suck.. lol

Commish also took Pedro in the 1st rd lol

People in the league are scared to protest because he basically runs it like hes Saddam, he accused me and 2 others of bein the same person because we contested the trade

I want to show him your replies to this trade so he can see that he doesnt know what he is talkin about

Even though Dice-K is a product of potential and hype, Suppan is a 3rd -4th MLB starter/ fantasy waiver wire fodder.

the fact that they are husband and wife and the rift in player value since it is two weeks before the start of the season and dice-k still has major upside makes this seem like the husband wanted a more stacked staff and conned his wife into colluding on a trade

i would say this is worthy of a veto, your commish sounds ilke he is either in on it or a moron, but if he drafted a guy who is going to miss considerable time in the first round then i would more default to the latter

he also severly overvalues older players versus potential and is too ignorant to look at draft value, question the fact that it is a trade between a husband and wife

i think you are hosed though because as you said they are friends, and the commish doesn't have a clue

its not so terrible as it will completely throw off a teams worth, its just kind of in very poor taste.

i think you just have to suck this one up, and find a better league next year

yea i wish i had never joined the league, especially since there will prolly be more collusive trades going on... Funny thing is he accuses others who have not made ANY trades of collusion...


As soon as i saw the commish draft Pedro in the 1st rd i knew i and the league was in trouble,,, showed me the commish was an idiot, and that it was gonna be a LONG Season...

And to add to that he decides after the draft to add 2 categories to our roto league, and takes away a starting RP position after many people have taken 6 or more Rp's to cope with the setting

i would quit the league if stuff like that is going to be going on. just let any friends of yours know and then dump all your players into free agency and watch the league fall apart.

Yah I'd quit the league too... changing the categories AFTER a draft is simply retarded. The husband probably threatened to beat his wife or something for that kinda trade.
