So, the question is...if we got rid of paper money completely, would that put an end to the drug trade? :-?

Who's going to transfer money electronically when it can be easily tracked? And it's not like your local drug seller takes plastic. :-b

getting rid of paper money would be a useless exercise. people wouldn't trust the system enough to support it and there are myriad other ways to exchange things of value.

That is an insane amount of money to have lying around somewhere in a city. This really shows the amount of money that is exchanged in drug trafficking.

the economy would collapse.. i think the repercussions would be huge.. could be a decent movie plot, some drug lord who gets shut down and has to find a way to get around no more cash
