That bully would look pretty nice then. Some power righties in Hawkins, Farnsworth, AND two good lefties, although Sauerback is more situational than Remlinger. The only thing is, I'm still not completely sold on Borowski as the hammer.
He pitched well last year but I just don't think he has the tools to be effective all year. He is a TON better than Rocky Biddle tho!
If I were playing third base and my mother were rounding third with the run that was going to beat us, I'd trip her. Oh, I'd pick her up and brush her off and say, 'Sorry, Mom,' but nobody beats me.

England's Worcester Canoe Club set the world record for paddling a hand-propelled bathtub. The 25 man team covered a distance of 55 miles, 425 yards in 24 hours on September 28 and 29, 1979.
I hear there's a hot prospect named Prior making his way up through their system - maybe we can snag him?
If I were you...I wouldn't wan't the Prior guy...he is really not that good.....maybe you should look for Alfonseca....I hear he has the real stuff.....

Mike Remlinger is actually a righty specialist, not a lefty specialist, so getting Sauerbeck seems like a good idea. Besides, Remlinger looks like Billy Bob Thornton
But I have to agree, that is looking like one of the best bullpens out there. If they get Sauerbeck, and he gets his act together, that's 4 excellent relief pitchers. Personally I think Farnsworth could be great this year. It's just a hunch though.
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."

Farny will be good....as long as the Cubbies don't try him in the closer role again......
