Minor league draft help??

Postby Manipulator » Wed Mar 14, 2007 4:58 pm

following our AL only league auction, we have our 10 player ultra/minorleague draft. I have the third pick. Who do you think would be a good player taken at that point.

Already protected are Maybin,Hughes, Butler and Dukes

Delmon Young and Alex Gordon should be the top 2 picks. I would go for Brandon Wood.

actually the protected list are the ones i gave in my original post. Young and Gordon will be on the major league rosters and thus will definitely be drafted before the ultra.

I'm thinking one of Wood, Hochevar, Longoria, maybe Lind if he doesn't make the Jays,

I like Longoria over Wood actually but either i think are the best choices. Wood has a longer track record and superior power but i think Longoria is a better all around hitter. If wood was still a SS id give him the edge though. i like them both

I have the third overall pick. Let's say that Wood and Longoria go 1, 2, who would be the next logical pick?
Thanks so much for your replies
