I think I'll pass on him.
I dont think he can be an everyday starter. He will wear down fast. I think he's at his best game at this age playing only 3-4 games a week.

I don't see how he isn't a full time player. The Giants are very old. He will start at 1st base, then he will get spot starts at 2nd 3rd and SS. If he is healthy which I dont' see why he won't be, he will be playing almost every day. The Red's didn't use him full time, but their team is in a different position that the Giants. The Giants don't have the infielders that the Reds have.

Any reason why you doubters dont like him?
He will bat either 3rd or 5th and he will hit at least 15 Hr's which is more than most SS

Many things are going against him
1. Very weak line-up (although, he might end up hitting 4th or 5th)
2. Move from an extremely hitter friendly ballpark to an extremely pitcher friendly ballpark
3. 35 years old
4. Injury prone
5. Lack of job security

I believe he's starting, and will put up decent enough stats to be worth a bench spot, especially in H2H for extra stats.
