Tribe lineup talk

Postby The Cow » Wed Dec 03, 2003 4:25 pm

I see there has been very little mention of my Tribe so here is a glimpse at their lineup:

1B- Hafner or Boussard take your pick its doubful either will have much of a year.

2B- LOL LOL LOL- even the Tribe doesn't know who to play here.

3B- You know that guy with the big nose, yeah Casey Blake thats it.

SS- Omar Vizquel- Umm hes not old really

C- Victor Martinez- Now this guy will actually get drafted in most leagues

RF- Jody Gerut- A solid player

CF- Milton Bradley- AKA Gameboy, he has some talent who knows

LF- Ryan Ludwick, Alex Escobar or Coco Crisp. I say crisp in left and Ludwick at DH. But really does it matter????

Now isn't this an imposing lineup??? LOL no wonder people won't buy tickets.

Fantasy stud: Nobody

fantasy dud: Where do I start?

Sleeper: Martinez

Players worth drafting: Martinez, Game Boy, Gerut and file Ludwick and Crisp into a super duper sleeper category.

But who knows??? Hey the Royals had a solid year last year so there is hope!!!!!!!?????????? LOL

I thought the Indians had a very highly regarded young middle infielder?

Peralta. Watch him, baby! May take a couple of years because he's really young, but what wrists this kid has.

Don't discount Phillips either. One bad year does not a career make.

Grady Sizemore. Now there's a fantasy stud in the making. He'll be up by the end of the season. Probably for good.

Cliff Lee is the pitcher to watch for fantasy purposes this year. Should go cheap and could be very good this year.

Seconded on the Cliff Lee advice. I'll be looking his way come the late rounds.

Lee and CC Sabathia will be the Indians' PWD (Pitchers worth drafting) next year. Nothing else is good enough.

DK,

You must have one hell of a crystal ball to proclaim that so easily. They have many young arms, including Jason Phillips who may take a step up this season. You may be right, but I wouldn't be so sure of it.

They're good...but won't make enough of an impact in 2004 to truly matter. 2005 should be nice though.
