12 team 5x5...with OBP and SLG instead of AVG and HR. Can Keep 4 regular players and 2 rookies

C: Lo Duca
1B: Overbay
2B: Weeks
SS: Glaus
3B: M-Cab
OF: Beltran
OF: Matsui
OF: Dunn
Util: A. Ram
BN: Alex Rios
BN: Delmon
BN: Teahen

SP: Santana
SP: Capuano
RP: Valverde
RP: Dotel
P: McClung
P: Shields
P: Wheeler
BN: Lincecum
BN: Maine
BN: Anibal Sanchez

Ok so I have figured out that I need an upgrade at 1B, more speed, and a quality SP. Anyone have ideas on who I should target or what trades I should propose.

you gotta like Dunn with your league setup but I think he is the one I would shop now. 1. your league setup favors him & 2. you have 3 players on your bench that will soon be OF eligible. With your setup I would think a Dunn = Smoltz/Sheets/Schmidt (and he might be worth more as I have not run any #'s)

Thanks Eagle. The only problem is that since the season hasnt started, Dunn is currently undervalued as I got him in the early 4th rd (10th round if you look at keepers). Thats why I am a little hesitant to try to deal him.

Another question,

Should I trade for a 1st Basemen or a Starting Pitcher or a Closer first? I feel like I have enough power to survive and with weeks, beltran and rios I shouldnt be last in steals.

Essentially, I am trying to use the MR strat and need to know if I should get another strong starter or if Capuano, Maine, and Sanchez can support Santana enough?

Thanks for your insight on my team. I think your offense is fine and wouldn't really worry about your 1B situation. Overbay is very solid. What i would do is deal from depth. Your depth is at 3B and OF. Your pitching staff could use another starter, so Dunn or Aramis would be your best bets to get a good starter.

If you feel like you won't get equal value for Dunn, then I would deal Ramirez. You have Teahan on the bench to fill in at 3B if need be and the rest of your bench is good enough to be at the Util position.

What do you guys think about...Dunn and Capuano for Sabathia and J. Patterson. Id love to have 2 studs in Sabathia and Santana to anchor my staff and just use Maine and Sanchez for favorable matchups.
