Just drafted - Need Advice... (WHIR)

I just drafted in a 12 team standard 5x5 roto league.

I got screwed a couple of times with guys like Furcal, and Russell Martin going right before I picked.

What do you see that I need help with?

Also who should I target in a trade, and what should I offer?

P.S. I hate Sexon, and would like a better 1B, but there was such a run on them early, I went with Holliday, instead of Konerko or Fielder who were the best 1Bs left.

I'm impressed with your OF in general. Very good and has a lot of upside. I'm sure that there are better C's available then Molina so you may want to look into upgrading there. Your pitching is very good also - a lot of balance and that's key.

If you really don't want Sexson I'm sure someone would be willing to take him on for his bat. But really, very good team all around.

To be honest, I wouldn't look at changing much right now, except replacing Molina with someone off FA, guarantee there is someone better.

As for taking Holliday over Konerko, that was a no doubter, and Sexson fits in well with your team. Probably the only guy who'll challenge 40HR on your team, with guys like Migi, Vladi, and Holliday more of 120 35 120 guys.

Yeah.. I was actually suprised Holliday fell that far. And Sexon isn't horrible, I just can't stand having that one guy that hits .240-.250 and takes a bite out of the team BA.

yeah looking at the team I like it. Opposed to some others im a believer in chavez this year thinking that now he is taking care of his body and back much better he shouldn't be too bad with injuries this year. I am glad you stuck with your own feelings and went with holliday instead of taking konerko, sometimes when there are runs in drafts people pick up players that should be in much later rounds, but you good a good player at the right time instead of goign with the whims of oyru draft. As of now I dont know if i would try to move anythign, like they said just try to get a more productive catcher. The only question i would have is with vlad and his knees, keep an eye on that, dont want you first pick going to be a waste

Good team. I'm surprised you couldn't get a better catcher in a 12 teamer, but it's servicable. Pitching is oozing with potential, but I'm not confident all of it would come out. Outfield along with Cabrera should carry your team to a quality finish.
