when does rivera officially go on the DL?

Anyone know when hes placed on the dl? Is it b4 the season starts? I'm thinking of drafting him, then putting him on a dl spot but he cant be on our dl unless hes on the MLB dl.

I can't answer your question but I will say that unless you are in a 20 team league, have 2 DL slots or are in a 5 OF league he's not worthing doing this with. This is not an injury that is easy to come back from, he might not be fully healthy until 2009 much less later in 2007.

Go To War Miss Agnes answered this in the leftover forum. DLs are usually determined right around the same time that teams are setting their 25 man roster. That's usually one week before the season starts. There is no reason to place anyone on the DL before then.
