The poking isn't the issue. Any vitrol is often within posts about relevant topics; few post solely to trash one team.
My point is this: There's a lot to legitimately discuss, and this stuff is better suited to fan sites--nyyfans.com or SoSH--than here. We like to keep this board--at least this forum in particular for better discussions.
(Admittedly, though, the idea--very much espoused by NYY fans--that because we lose a lot that Sox fans wish they were Yankee fans--drives me absolutely insane, just as the idea that we
like losing. Just like parents, you just don't understand.)
