So it's finally happened. Bye bye, Ponson.

So, I see we called up Jones. Are we going to slide Perkins into Ponson's spot, like I said?

It looks like they're content leaving Perkins in the pen. It's been rumored that Baker is going to get the call to replace Ponson. I'd rather it be Slowey or Garza.

Now, if we do call Baker up (I saw his numbers earlier, pretty good) and he struggles, is this the end for him? Not in terms of, that's it, you're cut. But more of, you don't get the first shot anymore and we won't hesitate to trade you.

To answer your question, I would say yes. If he doesn't get it done this time around, it will be his last shot with the Twins.

So far, so good, he pitched very well tonight.

Slowey continues to dominate at AAA as he posts 8 innings of shutout ball. Ortiz needs to pitch well tonight if he wants to last in the rotation much longer.

Extremely excited to see Slowey. Hopefully he can just give us some innings and a quality start. He would have to absolutely tank to be worse than Ortiz was in May.

No complaints here from his first start. He worked his way out of his jams. I thought he did great.

Very impressive start. Wiggled his way out of trouble and pitched very well in the middle innings. Very promising.

Watch either the play, or movie, "Annie." ;-)

Wishing my waiver priority had won me Slowey in my deep 20 team keeper league (it didn't).... :,-(
