Try to trade for a better 1b and sp. I don't really like your catcher either. He's on the decline. I would rather go for a young prospect, especially this year when there's plenty to choose from. I like the closers. Maybe grab one more that will get you cheap saves.
Jody, Jody Davis. Hits 'em high and far. Jody, Jody Davis. He's a superstar. Holy Cow!!!! http://www.stinkytee.com

trade one of those 3B. you dont need three. try to trade either boone or alfonzo for a 1B or just a better bench player

Well, my theory behind the three third basemen was that all 3 were the best quality in the draft at the time. So, if they have the years I think they can, they are a lot more valuable in trades.

Boone will play 2B this season, so he'd be able to play 2B, SS, or 3B if I suffer any injuries.

As for first base, I could always move Klesko to first, play Vernon Wells in OF and have Alfonzo, Koskie play utility

I like your team as well to start the season with. Maybe you could use a better SP or another quality OF but all in all, everything looks good to me to start out the season. Good Job!

What's wrong with the starting pitching?

Piniero
Halladay
Wade Miller
Garcia

Those are 4 possible 20 game winners. Lawrence and Woody Williams are low ERA guys as well who could surprise too.

I would def try to upgrade at 1st. Durazo shold be solid if he stays healthy but I wouldn't take the chance. Use one of the 3B as bait.
