Does anyone know of a site where names / stats can be downloaded to Excel?

What are you looking for? Just last years stats? You can get them from http://www.dougstats.com/ or if you're comfortable with Access/Excel you can just use the Lahman database ( http://baseball1.com/statistics/ ).

ZiPS2007.xls is the Excel file for this year's ZiPS projections

Last year, supposedly the pitcher projections were among the most accurate... and they're free.

Baseball Prospectus has its own set of projections that are well-regarded, but you need to subscribe to get them.
