Is that a pun referring to the Sexson trade? LOL.

Re-signing Miguel Batista would be a huge plus, but that’s unlikely if Arizona sticks to its $80 million payroll ceiling and can’t trade another salary, i.e. Bautista or Matt Mantei. What you see now is likely what you’re going to get come February
John Patterson is the next Brandon Webb. Ya heard it here first.
i heard it last year too sorry
At least this year if I take him, I won't be wasting a mid-draft pick on him. Everybody has pretty much forgotten about him. He showed that he can be dominant, and I know it's a longshot, but of all the longshots, I'll pick him, because he has the strikeout ability. And there must be something in the water in 'zona that made Webb and to some extent Andrew Good decent last year. If only Patterson could learn to pitch to major leaguers...
"Jack, will you call me, if you're able?"
"I've got your phone number written, in the back of my Bible."

Umm...I give up, who?
Lol. I'd gladly draft an irritated RJ over a happy one.
Yes doctor, I am sick. Sick of those who are spineless. Sick of those who feel self-entitled. Sick of those who are hypocrites. Yes doctor, an army is forming. Yes doctor, there will be a war. Yes doctor, there will be blood.....
Don't forget, Luis Gonzalez has a very fragile elbow which could put him out for the year at any time. Arizona is going to have many issues to deal with in the coming season.

dominant is not a word I would use to describe Patterson. If he had a winning record in his minor league career maybe then I'd say average. He is a strikeout pitcher that stuggles with control, two plus years removed from TJ surgery. He will probably be in the rotation, but I would be careful saying dominant.
41-48 with a 4.08 era minor league career is not dominant. Now he had a nice year in the minors last year, 10-5 2.63 era but his k/9 was way down ??? Maybe he is finally learning how to pitch....
