Average season by position

Postby Broncmet724 » Tue Dec 02, 2003 7:09 pm

I am curious what the average seasons are by position the past season and maybe previous seasons. I am attempting to work on a ranking system, adjusting a point based system on the previous season, home park power rating, and maybe a manager adjustment for certain stats, mainly stolen bases.

For example, it is my belief for example Derrek Lee will not come close to his steal numbers playing in Chicago due to being under Dusty Baker, etc. However, I don't want to make an incorrect assumption based on my opinion.

I have 6 or 7 stat sites bookmarked but either I have overlooked the information I want, or it's not on that sites. If anyone could help I would appreciate it.

Thank you

sounds like you need ... Excell.
Put the numbers in and let Bill Gates do the work. You will probably not find what you are looking for on the net. Baseball is so very stat driven that there is no way any site can post them all.

Nope Excell..
Friar Wire, Dodgers FAIL, Mets FAIL.

I agree with Wrveres. Excell spreadsheets work the best. :-)
