You rocked on that deal. Pujols >> Ortiz. The other guys are close to even, although obviously you took a slight downgrade on both. Plus, you wanted speed, so you should have it now. Great move. ;-D

Ya, I'm pumped about this deal. Long live the Cafe.

He offered this deal to me. There were other guys I wanted to try to get, but all Cafe people had them which means I can't trade for them. Overall, I'm very excited about this deal. I may try to move Pujols to someone who will overpay. It'd have to be an amazing, amazing deal for me to do it.

I did this for a few reasons.

1. I needed help in average and I get it with Pujols. 50 points higher than Ortiz. I don't lose power numbers here.

2. I needed speed. Iguchi was my main SB guy with 11 SB's last year. I'm not punting SB's. Lopez gives me more SB's.

3. I didn't want to give up Broxton, but I have Rincon/Linebrink to help with my ratio's. I didn't want to not get Pujols over a middle reliever.

Nice trade. You will lose some power but the average and speed help should more then make up for it. ;-D

That first one isn't the same league. Someone from RC has Olivo, and I have Pineiro, so he must be talking about a different league. It's odd, because it seems to be the exact same settings.

For next year give Fantasykings a ring.

I am one of the admins over there and am pretty much in charge of the forum challenges.
I am also a mod at realgm the fantasy bbal section. Baseball is not really my expertise.

We are involved in one challenge for baseball right now from what I know and we got one going in basketball as well which we have been hosting for two years now.

Oh I am a regular poster at fantasy basketball cafe and have been reading the baseball cafe a bit more frequently lately....
