Finished Draft - Thoughts? WHIR!

12 Team Mixed Yahoo Head to Head Points League. 4 Keepers per year so its a slim Keeper League. Our positions are listed below with my starters. Its daily, with no IP limit, so you can start an unlimited amount of SPs if you want (though bad starts will cost you negative points)

I'd love to hear some thoughts/advice. I neglected pitching, obviously. Do you think I can win with this group? If not, who should I deal for some arms?

SP - Cain, Papelbon, C. Young (SD), Beckett, Snell, Jennings, McCarthy, Gorzelanny and Josh Johnson (who will begin on my DL)

RP - Ryan
RP - Valverde

You're quite luycky for getting both Pujols and Utley and they will carry ur squad. Your pitching is OK, not that spectacular. I'm not confident in Papelbon yet, Valverde is inconsistent, and McCarthy plays in a hitter friendly park... you might want to make a move for a proven ace...

Your hitting is very good and balanced, with Pujols and Ortiz leading the power, and utley, cuddyer etc.. balancing out there already good averages.
Your pitching, I don't feel is that bad. I'm looking for Beckett to rebound (but, thats just my opinion), Chris Young is only going to get better, Cain is decent, but doesnt really have a downside. I say you try and rios/cuddyer straight up for a good 2nd tier pitcher, and then your staff will be pretty solid, including your closers...Or you can try and ship Snell and Jennings for another decent pitcher. If you get those things, you will have a very good team...

my god pujols, utley, ortiz, rollins... was that a trade situation? did you at one time have santana or something? thats very impressive,

certainly your pitching staff could improve and i think maybe i would trade ortiz for carpenter and someone else, but thats a ridiculous IF...

wow pujols AND utley. you could afford to shop some of that O for some arms, but personally, i'd see how they do for a few weeks first...
