I don't know, but healthcare is free. We can't even get decent healthcare plans that we have to pay for.

Think about it if you were in a fantasy league with The George and say roster moves cost $100,000 grand, do you think you would stand a chance? You would have to draft almost perfectly to stand a chance. I was glad to see the fish win the series as I figured the George would have to spend big time to try and compete not to mention the Sox. My point is this, how long can baseball expect the fans to support losers???????????????????? Such as the Tribe, Reds, Pads, Pirates, Brewers etc.....
I may be mistaken, but doesn't Cleveland sell out Jacobs Field all the time, and have great revenue? Or was that only when the Jake was new??? Either way, if Cleveland fans are gonna pay to go see Chad Durbin and Ricky Gutierrez, then Chad Durbin and Ricky Gutierrez they shall see. Yes but if you look at revenue most of the money does not come from the gates. The Sox and Yanks had similar gate revenues last year but the Yanks total revenue was much higher. The difference is in the T.V. contracts, the Yanks have a huge one and the Tribe doesnt.

George just bought the whole network ... "There. Problem Solved"
My lord, baseball needs a hard per team salary cap. It'd also be nice to remove the DH. Too bad the players union will probably never let either happen.
Bluto: Over? Did you say over? NOTHING is over until WE decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? HELL, NO!
Otter: Germans?
Boon: Forget it, he's rolling.

Actually, George started up his own network and then moved the team there when the MSG contract was up. Great business move if you ask me.

granted, brilliant business move. And as soon as the Yankees go 'pay per view' across the nation, he can get his payroll close to 300 mill ..
